Place of birth: Teleplan mBricks started as a project within Teleplan A/S, an internationally recognised consulting and software company in the field of telecom and mobile communications, in 2004. Customer demand for reliable tecnologies for mobile application development was a fact and mBricks was created in response to that market need. When the mBricks platform was launched early in 2006, the first customers and partners were already in place. This market interest in mBricks led, in mid-2007, to spinning off the technology as well as the key personnel to a separate company: mBricks AS was born. As a key innovative player in the telecom and mobile communications area, we are proud of our Teleplan heritage, and proud to have Teleplan as our major shareholder supporting our ambition of enabling the shift to mobility. mBricks Team When mBricks was established as a company we brought in our experience of project management and development, as well as our specialised knowledge of mobile technology. This competence mix has proved value in completing and releasing high quality mBricks modules. Our newer colleagues have chosen mBricks based on their own fascination with the mobile technology field, and we have chosen them for their impressive competence in their respective specialities.
