The Norwegian mobile operator NetCom, owned by TeliaSonera, recently launched a mobile application for their value-added-service on enterprise telephony Trådløs Bedrift (means Wireless Enterprise). The application enables users to administrate their account, e.g. setting up groups like Sales or Support, making changes in calling queues or numbers to show when called, setting your presence status, selecting VIP-callers and much more. Earlier, you would have to monitor and manage the solution on the PC, but with this application on the mobile phone you can operate the service anywhere.

At mBricks, we’re very happy that an operator has seen the potential of utilizing our technology. By integrating network information, such as call registers, operators can offer functionality that isn’t available in the handset. Marcello, an Oslo-based mBricks partner, has worked closely with NetCom to develop the application. Now, it’s time for the enterprises to take advantage of a visual interface on their telephone to the service.
